7961 stuck at Upgrading

Co-worker and I were trying to get some 7961's to integrate into our Trixbox environment which was all Polycom based. I think he may have flashed the wrong firmware or something, as now the phone just gets to "Upgrading" and hangs there. Since then, we've got the other 7961's to work fine, as they go through the firmware upgrade process, then pull their config in off a SEP file. I'm now trying to fix the one 7961 that was having the problem with "Upgrading".

I've tried resetting the phone using the #, then 123456789*0# option. The phone then gets an IP address and just sits at "Upgrading". I've also checked the TFTP logs on Trixbox and the phone isn't even hitting it. The TFTP does work fine as we have almost 20 other phones connecting to it fine. The SEP file is also setup properly. Any ideas how to resolve this and get this to actually update? Or is the phone toast?

Thanks!

If you can hit the SETTINGS

If you can hit the SETTINGS button and then 3 for NETWORK CONFIGURATION and scroll down to DHCP Settings and select NO. Hit Save after that it should tell you that you need to enter a TFTP server address. Enter your TFTP server address then Save the settings and reboot. Should be okay after that so long as you have the proper files saved in the TFTP Root directory of yoru trixbox if that is what you are using for a TFTP server.

What Firmware are the working phones using?

Thanks for the reply. I'll

Thanks for the reply. I don't think it should be having a problem with the TFTP as it should be getting that from DHCP, which is working since it is getting an IP during the "Upgrading" process. Nonetheless, I'll try that in the morning.

I believe the firmware that we're using is the newest, which I believe is 8_3_2 or 8_3_3.

Thanks,

Didn't work. The Settings

Didn't work. The Settings button doesn't do anything at this point. Anyone have any other ideas how to get this to acutally get past "Upgrading"?

Thanks
