Hi,

Does the 468* key sequence not work for the ip320? I am trying to reset the configuration and the admin password on an ip320, but 468* does not work when pressed at the countdown screen like the ip600 when it it initially booted. I have tried 1357* also without any success. Is there a different key sequence for this phone?

Thanks.

Better late than never huh,

Better late than never huh, I was just googling for this, and found it on the Polycom knowledge base. Hold down 1,3,5,7 for an IP 320

Sorry I must've missed this

Sorry I must've missed this one...

Restoring Factory Defaults
For the key combination, press and hold certain key combinations (depending
on the phone model) simultaneously during the countdown process in the
bootROM until the password prompt appears:
• IP 301, 501, 550, 600, 601, and 650: 4, 6, 8 and * dial pad keys
• IP 320, 330, and 430, 560: 1, 3, 5, and 7 dial pad keys
• IP 4000: 6, 8 and * dial pad keys

MAC address is the password to reset flash

Hello,

I just wanted to update this post. When you press *468 to reset a Polycom IP 501, it will prompt you for the password. The password you need to enter is the MAC address of the phone.

That should reset all settings to factory.

Thanks to David Pekarna for this info.
