Trixbox 2.6 on Rhino

I received a new Rhino Ceros II a few weeks ago that came preloaded with 2.6. Originally, I did not do any updates as there was a warning page saying not to do so without checking to see if there were issues. Everything worked fine for a day or so. Now, the box freezes up about 2-3 times daily without stamping anything in the logs. It is completely unresponsive. Using the buttons to reset the device does not work. It says that it is restarting but never does. I am forced to pull the power cords to turn it off and back on. Most times it comes back up. Twice, I had to hook it up to a monitor to run fsck manually. The last thing in the logs has always been a time synchronization. This might be a coincidence but I saw a post about this causing problems if the offset between the hardware clock and the system clock were too high. I had both of them in synch with each other. The appliance is also in a cool room with adequate ventilation. I don't believe it is a heat issue. I have 2 calls into Rhino tech support regarding this and I am waiting until they open today. I ran a memory test which came out fine. I also replaced the CPU fan just in case. Since then, I also did the Trixbox updates now but it didn't help.

I am considering reloading the entire box to see if it is software related. I'm not sure if I should go with 2.4 or 2.6. Can anyone give me their experience with 2.6 on this appliance.

The specs are as follows:
Athlon 64 Processor
2x 250GB Hard Drives (Raid1)
2GB RAM
Redundant Power Supllies
