Increasing Incoming Call Volume/Gain on Rhino R4FXO

Hi,

We've got an R4FXO card installed on Trixbox CE 2.6.x.x

The incoming volume of the calls too low. How do I adjust the gain for the incoming calls. The volume of the sound going out of our system is fine.

We're using Snom phones and even with the handset volume turned all the way up, it's way to quiet.

Thanks.

I'm having the same

I'm having the same problem.

I have edited the /etc/asterisk/Zapata.conf

rxgain=X.X

to a number of different values and there is no volume change. Is there a command I need to run to rebuild the config file into system? Upon saving my changes i login to the web interface and reboot the system via system>system maint

Are there other files i need to change? I cannot locate a zapata.conf.zapscan file in my directories so it either doesn't exist or I'm looking in the wrong place. However my changes to zapata.conf remain after the reboot. i also turned echocancle=no but that also showed no change. I'm measuring change via my ear as well as ztmonitor, and getting nothing.

Asterisk 1.2.18

Rhino Equiment Corp. RCB4FXO 4-channel FXO analog telphony card

thank you.

Rebooting is not necessary.

Rebooting is not necessary. An 'amportal restart' will take care of the reload.
