Is Apple iPhone 3G really worthwhile?

Hey guys i guess you all must be already familiar with the iPhone mania. I am planning to buy one for myself. I have read a lllot about this innovative product on mobile review sites like Realgeek who review & present each aspect of the product after thorough research(like this post on iphone 3G). After having a look at its specifications & its hefty price in India, I feel i should better buy a Nokia N96, rather than spending so heavily on iphone. What do u say?

As a new 3g owner, I can say that Apple needs to wake up and smell the coffee.
Go to my blog and you can read my rants about the 3g iphone. Basically, until Apple decides to stop being "God" to the Jesusphone, it's nothing more than a glorified ipod that makes really crappy telephone calls.
