New 7941/61 SIP firmware v8.4

Cisco have released the 8.4 SIP firmware for the 7941/61 phones. I can confirm that it works with the trixbox pro servers and MWI works perfectly. With trixbox pro you need to manually change the sip.conf to nat=0 for the extension with the cisco phone as before.

I have also noticed that you can no longer change parameters in the Device Configuration menu in the phone's settings menu. All other parameters appear to be configurable as normal.

I've just installed 8.4.1SR1

I've just installed 8.4.1SR1 on my phones and I've lost the grey backgrounds to the numbers and have gone back to one-way audio. It also shows it as registered but calls don't come through.

Will try 8.4

There are no resolved SIP caveats for firmware release 8.4(1)SR1.

Take a look at the debug

Take a look at the debug info through the phones web interface. If there are any problems with the config that stop it working properly then it will be reported there. I don't think it was the SR1 release I loaded.
