HT-488 Won't dial 7 or 10 digits FYI

I ran across an issue where a HT-488 would not let the FXS port dial 7 or 10 digit numbers through asterisk. After many hours of pulling my hair out, I finally discovered that if I removed the info from the NPA or "area code" field (left it blank), calls would work just fine. Nothing in the documentation indicates that this would be a problem.

Overall, I would not recommend the 488 for use with Trixbox. See my post below for a serious issue with dialing from the FXS to the FXO port.
