GXP2020 slow to do things
Hi,
I have a couple of GXP2020's in my Trixbox (v2.6) setup, together with several GXP2000's.
One GXP2020 is very slow at doing anything initiated on the phone. Making calls, transfering, getting initial response to Trixbox interaction i.e. VM. You dial for VM and it takes 10 seconds or so for the call to be answered.
This is the same sort of timeframe, when making a call (internal and external) or transfering a call to another extension.
I have compared the configuration to that of the other 2020 phone and they are the same, but the other handset is working fine.
Both running off same switch, with no VLAN's involved.
Any help is much appreciated.

This is very odd, but the following 2 scenarios are present:
1. WORKING OK- If the user dials a number (internal or External) and then either picks up handset or presses for speakerphone it connects to Trixbox immediately.
2. NOT OK - However if it is the other way round and the handset or speakerphone are picked up and then a number is dialled it take 10+ seconds to connect to Trixbox for action.
Both the above confirmed via CLI.
I am no nearer to understanding why this would be, maybe someone else is.
BTW - Firmware is 1.1.6.16
This sounds like a dialplan issue in the GXP phone. To determine if this is a local dialplan issue re-test situation 2 by picking up the handset, dial the number and then press the "Send" button, see if that dials immediately. If so, you just need to fix the dialplan on the phone. I think on all of ours we just set the timeout to 3 seconds and it was no big deal.
