A200 Line Voltage and Dropped Calls

I was wondering if anyone has ever had problems with dropped calls on the A200 Sangoma cards. We are experiencing random dropped calls and it seems to be on both outgoing and incoming, both local and long distance and on random extensions (as it seems). When I went into the Trixbox Pro GUI, I noticed on random occasions that the Sangoma cards would display zero voltage (as if they were not connected) and other times that voltage was back up? Could this be the cause of the random dropped calls. The Tribox Pro system automatically configured the cards. Any ideas how to fix this.

Hi, Yes if the voltage on

Hi,

Yes if the voltage on the channel is zero at the time of the disconnect then there is an issue with the line coming into our card. This is most likely the cause of your issue because if our card is seeing zero volts then that means that there is no line connected to the port. You should check your wiring and insure this is not the issue. Next you can see if this is only occurring on certain zap channels, if it is only on certain channels then move the lines connected to those ports and see if it follows the line. If it follows the line then you will know for sure the issue is with the line. Because you are using Trixbox Pro then if this does not solve your issue please speak with Trixbox support for further help with trouble shooting.

Random Voltage at Zero

Thank you for getting back to me. There are currently two A200 Sangoma cards in the box (8 ports) and it seems that voltage going to zero is on random ports at random times and only lasts maybe 30sec at a time. Sometimes its one random port and other times its two. It doesn't seem to have any particular pattern. I have no idea what's causing this.....I just started monitoring the cards for the last 30min and in the last 30min, all ports (except for port 1) has gone to zero volts in no particular order, but then they come back to their normal voltage. It seems all very random.

Hi, I spoke with you on the

Hi,

I spoke with you on the phone and you have advised me you are monitoring the voltage through the web interface. So if you want to monitor the voltage from the command line you can use the command "wanpipemon -i w1g1 -c astats -m X" x being the channel number. But as i said any further trouble shooting will have to be done by the Trixbox support.
