A200 and rollover
Hay all
I am trying to figure out how rollover works. I have a trixbox CE 2.6.1 system. The client has two companies in this one office. When they call out Channel 1 which is company A and a call comes in on channel 2 which I have set up as the rollover for Company A these are the channels as set up in Zap Channel DID's.
1. Company A
2. Rollover for Company A
3. Company B
4. Rollover for Company B
5. Rollover for Company B
So Call one comes in on channel 1 and call two comes in on Channel 3.
If company A is on the phone and someone calls in it's ringing on Channel 2. I am going to the client in the morning to check all channels.
I Just have no clue how this is suppose to work. Can someone give me an idea of how there system is working.
Another problem is that if no one is on the phone and Company B calls out there outbound DID is showing Channel 1 (Company A) Phone number. So I am not sure if you can have outbound DID's work properly with the system. They seem to want it to work just like their old POTs system.
Thank you for your help.
Hi,
As discussed on the phone, you would just simply need to put the first two lines into there own group and context and the same with the last three groups. Then just write your dial plan for each company based on the company's group and context.

Hi,
In your extensions.conf it would look something like this.
[context for company 1's incoming calls]
-company 1's incoming dial plan
[context for company 2's incoming calls]
-company 2's incoming dial plan
[context for company 1's outgoing calls]
when you dial out use "Dial(Zap/g0/number to dial)"
[context for company 2's outgoing calls]
when you dial out use "Dial(Zap/g1/number to dial)"
In your zapata.conf
------channels 1-2 would have the following-------
context=context for company 1's incoming calls
group=0
------channels 3-5 would have the following-------
context=context for company 2's incoming calls
group=1
