A101D works but A101D-X always kills the Asterisk. Please help!
Hi buddies,
We have got 2 new Sangoma single port T1 cards, one with PCI interface, the other one with PCI-express interface. We followed the same installation guide from Sangoma wiki:
1. Clean install of trixbox 2.6.1;
2. Download modules rpm and utility rpm;
3. Install modules rpm and then utility rpm;
4. setup-sangoma to input T1 parameters.
So far both cards work well.
After that if we choose "save the config and restart asterisk and wanpipe" on the PCI-express card, asterisk is dead. But it works perfectly on the PCI card.
/etc/log/asterisk/full gives no detail, only "The system detects an error in zaptel and shut down the asterisk for your protection".
I checked /etc/rc6.d/ and found the sequence is correct:
K60asterisk, K91wanrouter, K92zaptel.
I also checked /etc/wanpipe/scripts/stop and did find
amportal stop
We prefer to using the PCI-express card since we plan to install a Rhino R4FXO-EC PCI card to connect to backup POTS lines in case T1 is down. Maybe we can use a Linksys gateway instead but based on our experience, R4FXO-EC is the best analog card (and price).
Could you help us? Thank you in advance!!
Hi,
Please send me the following information plus a brief description of the issue to techdesk@sangoma.com.
-the output from "wanrouter version"
-the output from "wanrouter restart" (asterisk needs to be turned off for this so it may need to be done after hours)
-the file /var/log/messages (the entire file containing a wanrouter restart)
-the file /var/log/asterisk/full (the entire file containing a Asterisk startup)
-the output from "wanrouter hwprobe verbose"
-the output from “wanrouter status”
-the file(s) /etc/wanpipe/wanpipeX.conf (where X is the wanpipe number)
-the file /etc/zaptel.conf
-the file(s) /etc/asterisk/zapata*.conf
-the output from "ifconfig", (re run a couple of times with a second or so delay in between each run)
-the output from "cat /proc/interrupts" (re run a couple of times with a second or so delay in between each run)
