I am using Polycom 320 am\nd 650's.... when our receptionist dials a paging zone all the phones ring then beep....people think their getting a call before they hear the beep. How can I get the phone to just beep? Is that in the PBX or in the phone??
What I did on our 501s was to drop the ring answer timeout value.
The setting is in the sip.cfg called se.rt.4.timeout="2000" by default it's set for 2 seconds.
