BLF Bug?
I have the 57i and 57iCT phone (firmware 2.3.0.82) with Trixbox 2.6.1. I have the following behavior:
1) set up BLF line from web interface on the phone's EXPANSION module 560M (and it works tested for 60 BLF lines immediate as soon as I save the config.
2) restart the phone (simulate power loss)
3) after restart, all BLF lines become '?' except the first three lines (I tried to change to different lines and it does not matter what kind of line is that, only the first 3 lines work).
4) repeat the setup by erasing local file, and then go to step #1
This is repeatable on all 57i 57iCT phones we have with 560M sidercar.
Is this consider a bug? Or it is known to lose BLF on restart of the phone?
i dont have any newer systems with sidecars, but just did an install last week with 57is, and they have 7-8 BLFs on each phone that work fine.
either way you should probably call aastra support directly and have them take a look at it, if it is a bug - then definitely call them.
Just installed the new firmware and new XML scripts on to my Trixbox as well and am currently seeing exactly the same problem.
My BLF programming comes down to the phone/expansion module via .cf file, but same scenario... everything after the first 3 buttons on the expansion module show up as "?" status.

The problem we run into is that we use the TOP keys on the 57i because they do not change or move like the bottom buttons do when you pick up the phone.
What I am seeing is that the first 3 keys work perfectly, but anything after this (in our case top buttons 4 and 5 show a question mark and do not monitor the blf extentions they are pointed to).
Andy keep us posted or let us know if we need to report the issue as well so that it gets more attention.
We called in this problem to Aastra and got the same exact response...to remove the following line and reset the phone: (It did fix the problem.)
action uri registered:http://xx.xx.xx.xx:80/aastra/asterisk/sync.php?action=register&user=$$SIPUSERNAME$$&dndkey=softkey1&cfkey=softkey2&dnkey=topsoftkey5&dnindex=0
This line is there if you are using the Aastra XML scripts.
This is what they went on to say:
"We have identified that there is a bug between the BLF and XML scripts. The issue has been reproduced and developers are actively working it. I currently do not have an ETA when it is going to be fixed. It breaks some XML stuff however fix BLF. I truly apologize for the inconvenience it could cause."
