Can't connect to HUD

I have two sites, both Trixbox Pro EE that can't connect to HUD. This customer has 15 other sites which are all working great but these two stragglers arn't playing ball.

Server ID 115993 and 116006. HUD has been installed on PC's at the sites but when the customer tries to log in it says incorrect username and password. I've reset the user's password several times and I'm pretty sure the username is correct (ie 115993_xxxx - where x is the extension number)

As far as I know Pro picks up the Server password automatically and therefore shouldn't be a problem. I've asked the customer to check all the ports on the firewall we required are open and still nothing.

Any help would be appreciated!

Kevin.

Kevin, If your HUD Pro

Kevin,

If your HUD Pro installer is giving you an 'incorrect username and password' it means one of the following things:

1. Your username and password do not match our records. You can change this username and password on an extension by extension basis in the Extensions page of the control panel.

2. The version of HUD you are downloading is not correct. For example, using the PBXtra version of HUD Pro would cause this symptom. Make sure you use the download page at http://cp.trixbox.com/hud/download.cgi

You can observe the usernames and passwords in /etc/asterisk/users.xml if you are feeling brave. This should be the same (and is updated directly) by the web interface.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike, thanks for the

Hi Mike, thanks for the reply.

I wish it were that simple to resolve. I'm 100% sure on the correct username and password and also installing the correct version of HUD. I've been using the same version of HUD at other sites without fail.

I checked the users.xml file and the login details are exactly as I set them. But still I cannot logon.

I went onsite to server 115993 and reset the password (for the 10th time) and logged on successfully. For some reason it wouldn't work remotely.

I'm wondering if server 116006 is not logging onto HUD because it's having synching issues?

HUD installation issues with Hamachi running

I had an instance where the HUD client would not register to the HUD server after the installation. The HUD client would just say invalid username or password everytime. The actual problem was that the HUD client could not talk to the HUD server because Hamachi was running at the same time. We shutdown Hamachi while registering to the HUD server and it went through just fine. We restarted Hamachi after the registration and the both work fine.
