TDM Card Performance Issues, Aarrgghh

Hello,
I have a Rhino R4fxo, running on the latest version of Trixbox. However no matter how I adjust the RXgain in the zapata.conf file the problem doesnt seen to get any better, infact it creates more irratating background noise that is quite unbarable. I have tested the with a but set and the noice and volume are not an issue. I have went to far as hooking up a spare gxw410 and the issues are not present while using that either. Any suguesstions or trick would be greatly appriciated.
