nexusRE - Real Estate Audio Listing
Before all the spam alerts begin, let me first say I have cleared this post through Kerry.
I wanted to introduce a product I am working on releasing. It is currently almost ready for beta testing and I am currently working on finalizing a relationship with a hosting provider and need to figure out how to get the money to purchase the 1u server to run it on. The product is currently functional in my development environment. The system begins with a trixbox base install and it uses an Adobe Flex flash user interface with a php server side AMF web service.
Have a look! And please offer feedback. There are instructions to demo the client telephony interface and screen captures of the agent web interface.

Real Estate Audio Listing
A Real Estate Audio Listing is a simple but affective way to increase the marketability of a property by providing information immediately to the potential buyer as they sit in front of the property or as an add on to costly printed adds. You will no longer be limited by excessively short record times, radio transmitter proximity or per word advertising costs to be able to utilize the latest in technologies, enabling your state of the art Real Estate sales capabilities. Also, an audio listing allows the agent to begin making a more personal connection with the consumer. Create a listing that is your biography and add that listing number to the property listing. This enables the consumer an even greater view into your service offerings.
UPDATE:(8/14/2008)
The Praeter Tech team is now accepting applications to the Beta Testing Program. If you are interested in being a beta tester please call 603-505-4285 to learn more. The beta program is expected to run through to Nov. 1 2008 when the services is expected to go production.
That is pretty cool! I have a system in place that sends me a text message each time someone calls. It captures the caller ID and phone number. It doesn't have a user/web interface like yours.
I would love to help you test your system! I have over 175 REO properties and 100 are currently assigned extensions. If you call 800-643-1964 and enter extension 5000 you will hear a sample of a premarketing REO property.
Let me know if you need assistance in testing!
As it stands right now the system has one inbound route, no outbound routes, no extensions, three custom contexts and one php agi. All management of the properties are from the agent interface and stored in a MySQL database. It is written for a distributed architecture separating database from web server from trixbox/s but everything can run on one box.
At first, I plan to offer it as a service. The design allows me to expand the service by providing customized interfaces for a particular client (ie. Remax Agent Interface) and because the design is built on a trixbox system I can eventually sell it as an appliance allowing it to be used for an agencies, mortgage broker's... phone system as well.
James, I would love to have you help testing. Although the application was designed to minimize the load on the system for anything other than call processing, there has been no real load applied yet combining agent usage and client call usage. Please send me your contact information in a PM.
And oh by the way, for all you VM junkies out there all my development and demo for this system is on an Xensource VM. Again no real load testing but the call quality has been fine and this is using external sip trunk from Voipstreet.
this is a great application , well done. i really like the adobe flex interface i looked at using flex for a small project and it looks to be reasonably straight forward to implement.
like many killer VOIP application the next part of you task "commercialization" is teh absolute hardest part , your application is very straight forward and easy to explain and market . your Market is also very defined and you will have no trouble building a "prospects" list to sell to product to. i really do wish you well on you road to making money with you great application . so many projects just never make any money , so i would be really interested if you application becomes commercially sustainable.
I am just not ready to generally announce the pricing structure because there are some minor details still to be worked out. Most of my research has been with Real Estate agents combined with comparisons to other services which oh by the way I have uncovered very few services. I had expected to find more service providers than I actually did. If you like to discuss pricing for the moment, please PM me with your contact information and I can let you know where it stands now and possibly you can help solidify the pricing model with your input.
Jim
