I'm sorry but why? What is it you are wishing to see/accomplish? Or are you looking for specific modules you could bring to Joomla?

what a bad idea

Jooml is a great CMS ie content management system - usually set up on a public website so the world can see your content. ie business or personal website content .. i dont think there is any information inside freepbx - trixbox - or asterisk that you would ever want to broadcast to the world. i lock down trixbox already inside our LAN. i run the web interface on a separate port etc etc . sharing freepbx to the world you are crazy .

I've been using CMS systems

I've been using CMS systems for almost 10 years and can say for sure that joomla is one of the best i've paid in the past and love the new features open source has given. I just started using ready made joomla sites to speed up development for customers.

I think (I hope) the OP

I think (I hope) the OP means that he has an intranet site and wants to get some info from the PBX on it. Running any CMS on the PBX itself wouldn't be wise. But yes, you can do it, easily.
^wrapper, indeed.
I have an internal only site that happens to be Joomla and I wrap the trixbox /user page. That gives you the voice mail, FOP, and meetme of trixy from the intranet site. Works fine and makes it easy for the users. I don't think I'd do it this way if I had a large number of users but for me it works as it should.
If you run a public facing website then you'll want to protect t he PBX pages of course and a CMS gives you that ability without trouble.
