pop-up with caller informations
Hello!
I want to have a tip of you!
I'm looking for an easy Tool, which show me who is calling me.
There should be something like a pop-up with the name of the person, who call my.
I'm using Windows XP with TrixBox CE on a Server, but I don't want use HUD, because there are too much features.
The name of the calling person should select from the astdb or from an individual Database.
Is there such a free tool?
Please give me a tip.
Symphony is great however if HUD is too big for him there is an alternative.

Hy!
Thanks, yaacid seems to be very good, but I have a Problem.
There is no Pop-up if a call is coming in. The connection to Asterisk is OK, but there is no pop-up.
At the field channel, I wrote SIP/my_extension is this right?
edit:
I found the error, at "advanced event setup" I must choose Dial and Destination.
Thanks!
A great tool!
I wrote just what you are asking for, for my wife.
It is a client/server system. It broadcasts callerid data to the whole subnet, and screen-pops show who is calling.
You can right-click on the task tray, see previous call history, and even return calls.
We use it in our house 24/7 and it has the wife seal-of-approval. It is freeware.
You can see some screenshots here:

We gave up on Hud because it didn't display the Zap channels.
The callerID service runs on windows server. It connects to the trixbox in the standard way, using port 5038. The service then sends callerid data out over UDP to the network.
Client PC's run a small applet (xp, vista, 2003) that pops up the caller id info.
I don't run trix on vm because I have a TDM-400 card.
The documentation is sparse because it was originally meant just for my family...
I got the PDF on the isymphony installation. Possibly dumb question here, but how do I download the RPM to my box. I did:
cd /usr/src
wget http://www.i9technologies.com/component/option,com_docman/Itemid,...
(this is the link to the download with JRE embedded)
but after it downloads, the file says "index.html"
I want to see the actual rpm here right?
Any help is appreciated!!!
