FreePBX and Polycom?

Here's a complex question, I'm sort-of new at troubleshooting this 'stuff.'

Now, I have installed TB 2.4.1. Updated the Polycom firmware, asterisk-addons, TB update. Nothing else updated so far.

Tonight, tried to use Endpoints Manager to setup my first Polycom 501, but I couldn't make it work as stated in blogs about new features.
Ran the setup-polycom script, manually configured the phone's server type (TFTP), server name (IP), boot server IP (192.168...) I finally got the phone to boot, loaded FW 2.2.0.0047 but it was slow to boot. Anyway, got it to come up.

Now, FreePBX can't add any extensions. Looped with an error, I think in config.php at line 970, repeatedly. Restarted server, updated FreePBX core, framework, and system dashboard. Now, when I try to add an extension, I get timed out to a completely blank page after about 60 seconds.

My questions are as follows:
What have I done wrong and what shoul I do?
Are there still problems with IP501s using the 2.2.0.0047 fw?
Did I break some part of FreePBX somehow? Am I having permissions issues?

Mind you, I have not changed anything else inside the polycom phone other that that stated above. I assumed the Endpoint Manager would use all default Polycom parms to do its thing.

Thanks very much,
Richard

Since you've just installed

Since you've just installed trixbox, I would re-install it and start from scratch. You're not dealing with a Polycom issue here--something is corrupted and we could try to hash it out, but I think since you just got going, re-install first then we'll go from there.

Preston: Your advice was

Preston:

Your advice was very correct, indeed. That's exactly what I did last night, did NOT use Endpoint Manager 2nd time around, and everything is working well.

At least it was, until I got the playback jitter...but that's another post (literally)

Thank You
