HUD Lite cron job HELP !!!

I am green when it comes to setting up Cron Jobs. I need to setup my hudlite server to restart every day because it keeps loosing something, so part way through the day nothing works and I have to restart the service. i want to make a cron job that will do that every day or even every hour if needed.

Do i simply need to create a file [HUDRestart] in Cron Hourly and put [service hudlite-server restart] in it and place it in the hourly folder? I simply want to know how to setup a cron job, and make it work.
