Hello Everyone. I need help in a big way. I am having problems with echoing. I have no hardware installed for echo cancellation. I do have oslec but I am not sure I have it setup correctly. Any help would be appreciated.

Just the onboard network card. I have QOS setup but they still have echo's. Again I don't have any hardware echo cards

That would either be your

That would either be your phones or headsets or your SIP provider. Asterisk Echo can is not used for SIP only calls as far as I know. Only acoustic echo can which is done by the phones themselves.

Excessive latency on your LAN/WAN can make the problem worse.

OSLEC is only used for TDM

OSLEC is only used for TDM cards. If you are having echo over VoIP trunks then it is usually network delays, packet loss, and network jitter and there isnt much you can do about that besides use a different provider or get a different internet connection based on where the problem is.

OSLEC

That sucks. Alright guys. Thanks for the insight. One last question. I have linksys phones and noticed that there is an option for Silence Supp enable. Also could I try adjusting the input gain on the headset. The linksys phones are spa942
