hi,
can you tell me what is the current status of the centos-5.2 updates?
is it safe to update to centos 5.2? as it's released todays all daily update try to update to the latest version. so it'd be useful an official position about it.

Upgrading the kernel will

Upgrading the kernel will break zaptel. Until we have new drivers that are all recompiled from all the vendors we aren't able to upgrade to the newer base.

i'm not think about the kernel (which is excluded in yum repo anyway) but the other dozens of packages.
